WSU Tech hosted a Code.org Summer Workshop to help bring computer science skills into classrooms across Kansas and beyond. I created an email campaign to promote the event to more than 2,500 school administrators and educators across the Midwest. Using MailChimp, I wrote and scheduled 35 targeted emails to boost engagement and attendance. By leveraging workflows, customer journeys, and segmentation, I ensured the campaign ran smoothly and effectively. The first emails had an open rate of 37.9%, with an average open rate of 30% across the campaign. As a result, the event has seen dozens of inquiries from interested educators, and attendance is on track to exceed previous years.
